I think it’s a crock a ****. I can’t believe I accepted it for 18 yrs. Anyways, Christianity has become really violent.

Don’t do *religion*, my faith is in God and Jesus….. Most of them are a little to messed up for me ….. few if any really go by the Bible these days….. Not saying they are wrong for whom ever attends, I just can’t see what they see…… *shrug*……

The new testament is full of good morals and wisdom, but the old testament is a book of darkness and ****.(God commanding the stoning of sabbath breakers, the killing of babies, etc.)

It has some good teachings, but predominately more horrific teachings. It’s not a religion I would want to be true.

To me it is the obvious explanation to reality. The precepts and heart of the Scriptures give the meaning and means to live a good life, with purpose and compassion. It explains the state of man and the changed needed to become better (what we were intended to be)
Notice I have tried to stay away from the common sayings and slogans, they have been too much overused and have lost much of their meaning.

A once fine religion being destroyed from within!
ALL the other religions and atheists live in peace and are ONLY attacked by BAD christians which causes all GOOD christians to despair at the damage they do!
Up until about 40 years back Christianity was thriving and there was no conflict with others but in just those few short years the modern christians have become intolerant, **** filled, bigoted and persecuting resulting in a growing backlash against christianity and causing christianity to loose over ten percent in less than a decade with the loss accelerating!
The self destruction of Christianity is underway and the only thing that can stop it is to abandon the terrible human emotions, seek to rediscover the idea of a loving god and act like it!

I’m an atheist, so i disagree with it.
That being said, i usually follow a ‘believe what gives you comfort’ motto.
What pisses me off is 1. when people say they are christian and HAVE NOT read the bible.
2. When politicians say they are following the bible but do the exact opposite.
