Palin can look the camera in the eye and say she is a Christian, Obama has to read it from prepared notes.

The GOP is the political action arm of the christian cult.

Not at all.
The tea party has absolutely nothing to do with religious ideology. It has everything to do with overspending and higher taxation.
There are many members, I include myself, who are not even remotely religious.

understand that one of the many criticisms against Abraham Lincoln was that he was too heavily influenced by the “Christian Extremists” of his day….
…those “Extremists”…largely Evangelicals from the Northeast… formed the vocal core of the Abolitionist movement….and fueled the otherwise unpopular Repbublican stance against Slavery…
…do you have a problem with that?

About as much as the Democrats and liberals. It is just that the Republicans tend to grasp hold of those morals and sling them at the voters. The Democrats are to afraid of stepping on peoples’ toes to sling said morals. However only the “celebrity” GOPs like Mrs. Moosemouth and co (the tea party) really mount the pulpit and sling it out.

Pretty close since America itself was created based on Christian principles.
The whole basis of American freedom is because we have “unalienable rights granted by our Creator” (not the Government)
Are you really that ignorant about America?

You have been watching Beck. He thinks we are too far gone at this point for anything but prayer. The Tea Party, on the other hand, is demanding fiscal responsibility, smaller government, and adherence to the constitution. They are political activists not religious fanatics.

When I think about the fact that there LOTS of liberal Democrats who are Christians, I don’t see anything very “close” between Christianity and the Republican ideology.

Not as close as the unions, George Soros and Obama. But their “religion” and their being Obama and crime inc. is the religion of hate, lies, race baiting anti American scum.

The ideology of the GOP has nothing to do with religion. I am with Suthern on this as I am not religious and I am a Republican, and a card carrying member of the Tea Party. Our ideology related more to individual freedom than religion.

Most of the Republicans I know, including my husband, want religion out of politics, they feel it has no business being there. It never used to be that way years ago. I know a lot of Republicans that are pro-life, pro-gay marriage, etc. They want some of the Repubs that are in office to just shut-up about morals, Christianity, etc.

Two different ideologies
Government spends money
Religions build churches with their money.
