There logic is 9249234 + 84124812834 = -144
If you could make logic for every religion you would be dead.

If you were in the market for a vacuum cleaner, and you looked at a box of one, and it said “Our product is sh*t! Competitor makes such better vacuums you’d be stupid to buy ours!” would you buy it?

They are obviously all trying to get people to join their church. More members = more money in donations.
In all seriousness, the people running the churches were brought up to believe that their religion is the right one. Humans are stubborn to admit somebody else is right so they all make the same claims that their church is the true church of God.

Jesus can have only one Bride:
Only the Catholic Church is supported by Scripture:
One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.
~~The Church is Visible
Jesus said his Church would be “the light of the world.” He then noted that “a city set on a hill cannot be hid” (Matt. 5:14). This means his Church is a visible organization. It must have characteristics that clearly identify it and that distinguish it from other churches. Jesus promised, “I will build my Church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it” (Matt. 16:18). This means that his Church will never be destroyed and will never fall away from him. His Church will survive until his return.
Among the Christian churches, only the Catholic Church has existed since the time of Jesus. Every other Christian church is an offshoot of the Catholic Church. The Eastern Orthodox churches broke away from unity with the pope in 1054. The Protestant churches were established during the Reformation, which began in 1517. (Most of today’s Protestant churches are actually offshoots of the original Protestant offshoots.)
If we wish to locate the Church founded by Jesus, we need to locate the one that has the four chief marks or qualities of his Church. The Church we seek must be one, holy, catholic, and apostolic.
~~The Church Is “One”
(Rom. 12:5, 1 Cor. 10:17, 12:13, CCC 813–822)
Jesus established only one Church, not a collection of differing churches (Lutheran, Baptist, Anglican, and so on). The Bible says the Church is the bride of Christ (Eph. 5:23–32). Jesus can have but one spouse. His Church also teaches just one set of doctrines, which must be the same as those taught by the apostles (Jude 3). This is the unity of belief to which Scripture calls us (Phil. 1:27, 2:2).
~~The Church Is “Holy”
(Eph. 5:25–27, Rev. 19:7–8, CCC 823–829)
By his grace Jesus makes the Church holy, just as he is holy. This doesn’t mean that each member is always holy. Jesus said there would be both good and bad members in the Church (John 6:70), and not all the members would go to heaven (Matt. 7:21–23).
~~The Church Is “Catholic”
(Matt. 28:19–20, Rev. 5:9–10, CCC 830–856)
Jesus’ Church is called catholic (“universal” in Greek) because it is his gift to all people. He told his apostles to go throughout the world and make disciples of “all nations” (Matt. 28:19–20).
For 2,000 years the Catholic Church has carried out this mission, preaching the good news that Christ died for all men and that he wants all of us to be members of his universal family (Gal. 3:28).
The Church Jesus established was known by its most common title, “the Catholic Church,” at least as early as the year 107, when Ignatius of Antioch used that title to describe the one Church Jesus founded. Ignatius was a disciple of St. John the apostle.
~~The Church Is “Apostolic”
(Acts 1:23-26, Eph. 2:19–20, CCC 857–865)
The Church Jesus founded is apostolic because he appointed the apostles to be the first leaders of the Church, and their successors were to be its future leaders. The apostles were the first bishops, and, since the first century, there has been an unbroken line of Catholic bishops faithfully handing on what the apostles taught the first Christians in Scripture and oral Tradition (2 Tim. 2:2).
Jesus assured the apostles and their successors, the popes and the bishops, “He who listens to you listens to me, and he who rejects you rejects me” (Luke 10:16). Jesus promised to guide his Church into all truth (John 16:12–13).
Peace be with you

Every church believes that they are the true church of Christ. If they didn’t believe this, they would go to a different church.
All churches are based off of Christianity. The only difference is they fit different lifestyles or personalities in a way. I do believe that if you are Christian, no matter your denomination, you can go to heaven. You have to carry out what your denomination actually beliefs and show that you are faithful. If you do this, you would still carry out the beliefs if you were drawn to another denomination. Does that make sense?
I am catholic, but I’m only 15 so I haven’t really explored others churches yet. The catholic church is the oldest church, and I agree with it very much. I disagree on pergatory and a few other minor things. The catholic church is what I believe, but overall I am a Christian.

Fact of the matter that is not the case. Most Christian Churches don’t usually state that their Church is the correct one.
THE Church Of JESUS CHRIST Of Latter Day Saints was started by Jesus Christ. That’s the difference.

Jesus founded only one Church and that Church is the Catholic Church. it is the same Church that Jesus prayed to the Father that we all be one within. He said, “Father let them be one as you and I are one”. Jesus stated that there is no need for the restoration of His Church stating that it would endure until the Parousia. God bless!

You forgot a few key words…. “One of”. The Church Universal is the name of the Bride of Christ, composed of all true believers. Any other names are nonessential, considering the Lord recognizes only two types of people in the world. Believers and unbelievers.
The classic sign of a cult never fails to be its claims of exclusivity. Only their members get to go to heaven (or their top heaven like in mormonism).
God’s truth is offered to and for all.

Well even though the LDS Church was restored by Jesus Christ Himself, it is illogical to assume that those who simply haven’t been informed of this restoration will burn.
Traditional Christianity fails miserably on this topic, for who in their right mind would think God will burn the unbelievers and honor the believers based solely on their lot in life? Oddly enough there really are people who believe this, talk about exclusivity!

Christianity has been split into over 38,000 different denominations, sects and cults setting christian against christian and christians against everyone else!
God’s work? Hardly!
It must be the Devil and the Antichrist working together to divide, conquer and destroy christianity from the inside!

Heartman stated “THE Church Of JESUS CHRIST Of Latter Day Saints was started by Jesus Christ. That’s the difference.” and he is 100% accurate. The LDS church has the most truth currently on the earth. Other churches have bits and pieces that they like while throwing out the parts they do not like or do not agree with how they want to live. Satan does not want people to learn about the truth. He would rather the world be divided and fight amongst ourselves instead of being united against him. Here are some points from the Book of Mormon that show that Satan is trying to overthrow the LDS Church and keep the world divided:
1 ) The Book of Mormon recognizes and exposes the reality of Satan, his origin, and “ hidden agenda. ”
2 ) The Book of Mormon reveals Satan ‛s strategy and deceptive tactics and temptations that result in the destruction of one ‛s spiritual growth and recognition of Truth.
3 ) Satan opposes Living Prophets, continuing Revelation and direct authority from God (the Priesthood ) to perform His ordinances.
4 ) The Book of Mormon defines which Prophets are most important – dead prophets or the current living Prophet.
5 ) It is very clear that only a Live Prophet can give daily guidance and counsel to the faithful relating to the current existing challenges and temptations that are created throughout their lives, as well as preparation for things to come.
6 ) The Book of Mormon and the LDS Church make a firm stand for and in support of God ‛s undeviating standards and commandments.
Here are several reasons why I believe Mormonism is real:
1) There are several times in both the Bible and Book of Mormon where God mentions using two or more witnesses, not to mention in today’s courts – two or more witnesses is more reliable and holds more weight than just one witness – the more the better.
2) Many things that are confusing in the Bible make more sense when combined with what the Book of Mormon says
3) We are not any more special than ancient people in regards to needing a living prophet, in fact, I believe today’s world is in more need of a living prophet than any time in history.
4) It completely makes sense to me the idea that we all lived before we came to earth and one of the purposes for coming to this earth is to gain a body of flesh and blood, much like Heavenly Father has.
5) It completely makes sense to me that Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are three separate distinct persons who are one in purpose. It is mentioned in both the Bible and Book of Mormon that they are one in purpose but are not one in the same person – additionally both books mention that husbands and wifes should be one in purpose.
6) It makes sense to me the idea that everyone is saved by the grace of God through Jesus Christ from eternal hell (aka outer darkness) but that it is our works which determine which level/kingdom of Heaven we go to.
7) The Mormon church teaches than the priesthood can only be passed down by the authority of someone who currently holds the priesthood who also received it from someone else with the proper authority. This makes perfect sense – a doctor can not become a doctor without another doctor’s approval, a teacher cannot become a certified teacher in public schools without someone who has the authority to approve it, etc. It makes sense that this is the same with the priesthood.
The Mormon church follows Jesus Christ as the head of the church with a living prophet as God’s spokesperson currently on the earth. This I completely agree with. How can someone speak for God if they have not been called by God to do so. When a prophet dies in the Mormon church, the next prophet is not chosen by vote of the members, nor is the next prophet chosen by who is “next in line” – although I do agree this last one appears to happen. The next prophet is told to the twelve apostles by God through his Son, Jesus Christ.
9) I love the idea I can spend all eternity with my family who I love so much – especially my husband and daughter. What a wonderful blessing that is.
10) Last, when I have prayed about the Book of Mormon and the Mormon church, I received a personal witness from God that they are true.

Very simply put, I feel as though the discussion in this thread has placed denominations over the most important factors: God as absolute authority and the bible being divinely inspired (II Timothy 3:16)
Denominations, purely by definition are a name or classification given to a class of things. With that being said, 1 Corinthians 1:10 clearly states that there not be divisions in the church. Furthermore, the practices of some organizations tend to place the traditions and authority of creeds over the standard, that should very clearly be the bible (if the claim is to Christianity). The bible teaches that we not merely act upon the authority set in place by man. This prescription only makes sense due to the fact that people are, by nature, fallible. Revelation 22:18 Also makes it clear the punishment placed upon those that add or take away from God’s teachings.
Additionally, if God is to be the fair and just God that we prescribe to in Christianity why is it that some “denominations” and sects subscribe to the ideas that there is a set number of people that will go to heaven? Why was this “special text” only made available to a select group? (in the case of mormonism) Why is there confession to only one specific group within the church? Why is there a high priest in some churches when it was made clear in Hebrews 8 that Jesus was the ultimate high priest to intercede as the ultimate sacrifice? Although I can appreciate the emphasis on confession in the Catholic church I’m not necessarily convinced that one way confession is the way it was intended from the biblical precepts. Furthermore, I wholeheartedly question the thoughts and ideas that Mary remained a virgin for the rest of her life after Jesus and would like to know where the biblical backing is for the idea that Mary did not continue with a somewhat normal life, since Matthew 12:46 points to the idea that Mary and Jesus’ brothers were standing outside of the crowd as Jesus preached.
Conclusively, I personally feel as though the only true Christianity is the one that eliminates the idea of infallible hierarchy, does away with the idea that God is in any way imperfect or unfair and places the emphasis on living the way God has intended by using the bible as the instruction for living while evaluating the cultural and chronological context of the writing.

Most of Christendom do not believe they are the true Church anymore. They have watered down their beliefs to the point that if you believe that Jesus is God, you are saved. Although many believe that those who are Catholics are in a cult. Compare their beliefs and ask yourself this. How can they all claim to be lead or guided by the holy spirit when they disagree with how to interpret the Bible. If they are all guided by the holy spirit then they would all agree with how to interpret the Bible in everything.
Jehovah’s witnesses back up their claim with action. They walk the walk and talk the talk. More importantly they all agree with one another.
You cannot say that with any denomination or sect of Christendom.

Do you expect them to say, “We’re not the true church, but you should believe us anyway?”
Obviously if someone believes a certain religion, they must believe it to be true or they don’t truly believe it!
Likewise, if you believe something to be true, you must believe the teachings that contradict it are not true. If you don’t reject that which contradicts your view, then you don’t truly believe that which you claim to affirm!
Everyone believes something to be true, right, and correct. By accepting this, then they automatically believe the things that contradict it are false, wrong and incorrect.
This applies no matter what the subject.
A person who believes in evolution occurring over a long period of time as the explanation of the variety of life MUST believe that those teach the creation account from Genesis are wrong.
A person who believes baptism is necessary for salvation must believe that those who teach they are saved without baptism are in error.
If two churches teach a doctrine that contradicts, then both can’t be true. (Both may be false, or one false and the other true, but contradictory teachings can’t both be true at the same time.) If you believe one to be true, then you must believe the other is false.
What we should do is receive teaching eagerly and search the scriptures daily to see which (if either) is true. (Acts 17:11)
While doing this search, we must properly handle the word of truth! (2 Timothy 2:15)
